This privacy policy explains how Tallinn Design & Architecture (www.tallinndesign.ee, the “Website”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit the Website or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Estonian data protection law.

• Data you provide. When you use the contact form or e-mail us, we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, the description of your project and any files or briefs you choose to send.
• Technical data. When you visit the Website, we automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and visit time.
• Cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 4.

3. Why we process your data

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into one);
• To provide design and architecture services and communicate during a project (performance of a contract);
• To improve the Website and understand how it is used (legitimate interest / consent for analytics cookies);
• To protect the Website from spam and abuse (legitimate interest);
• To comply with legal obligations, such as accounting requirements.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Website uses:

• Necessary cookies — required for the Website to function, including remembering your language preference;
• Google Analytics — anonymised usage statistics provided by Google. You can opt out of analytics cookies in your browser settings;
• Google reCAPTCHA — protects the contact form from spam. Its use is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms of service.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data may be shared only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Website and our services, under data processing agreements:

• our website hosting provider located in Estonia (data stored in the EU);
• Google LLC (analytics and spam protection). Transfers outside the EU are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses;
• public authorities, where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep data

• Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 2 years after our last contact;
• Project and contract documentation: for the duration of the project and as long as required by law (accounting documents 7 years);
• Analytics data: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent at any time. To exercise your rights, write to info@tallinndesign.ee. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restrictions and regularly updated software.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
